All That Stuff!!

August 24, 1998 at 10:51:03

Went to a local country park this weekend for a pig roast and thought I'd pull out my Garrett GTAx(which is always in my trunk). I really attracted a crowd of kids all wanting to help. We worked around a couple of large old oaks in the B mode but only found a few current coins. So I tried the A mode and it was non-stop beeping!!. What was down there?? The kids were so excited they wanted me to dig up everything! I choose the shallow targets and found all sorts of iron brackets, bolts, a shear handle and a latch. Now the items weren't anything special but the location was being on a hill a stream nearby, sparce homes, this was a rural area. All I can figure, with the amount of metal in the ground, is that it must have been the site of an old tool shed. Who would of thought?!?
