I finally got around to cleaning a small sports medal with the image of a track & field high hurdler visible through the dirt. I found it in an old Wisconsin park while on vacation & thought it was nothing special. What a surprise when the printing on the back came into view (toothbrush/hot water cleaning method). It says "1941, third place, 120 yard high hurdles". Not real valuable, but anything that was produced & potentially lost before I was born is a good find to me.
