Two Hours.....Two GOOD Finds

January 31, 1999 at 11:46:27

Went to a construction site across from a court house for a couple of hours before the rains came this morning.

First item was a gilted flat button with shank in tact. It's about the size of a nickel and has "Thomas George * Baltimore *" as the back mark. About 90% of the gilting still on it. This is not in my button book, any help would be appreciated.

Second item, I think, is a piece of eight. It is silver and appears to be a triangular section of a coin. Some letters are visible, but does not look like English. Help.
