This weekends finds

February 01, 1999 at 11:50:39

Made it out to do some detecting both Saturday and Sunday. Saturdays hunt brought about the usual clad, one 1918 wheatie and okne 14kt gold and what appears to be diamond pendent. The pendent was found in the swing set area of the park I was in.

Sunday I went to another park, I turned on my XS, calibrated the machine and moved the coil about a foot and there was strong 540 signal. It turned out to be a 14kt 1 inch diameter religous pendent with a very high relief of JC's face. The rest I would have been quite happy with clad, but I did find 4 more wheaties(the oldest of which is 1930) and also my first ever merc dime 1942. And then the Broncos win the Super Bowl. Pretty good day!
