ID,please...San Jose bank token

August 21, 1999 at 12:53:08

The coin is copper or brass, the size of a silver dollar. It reads on one side (around the rim): GUARANTY BUILDING and LOAN ASSOCIATION (at the bottom): SAN JOSE, CALIF. (in the middle of the coin is a building, and underneath it reads): OUR NEW HOME OCTOBER 31 1925.

On the back side it reads around the rim: MAKE THIS SOUVENIR WORTH (then up top it has a large: $1.00 (and underneath this): WHEN A ????? ACCOUNT WITHIN TWO MONTHS FOR $10.00 OR MORE (in the middle of coin is a large 6%). At the bottom, around rim it reads: ASK US ABOUT IT.

Does anyone know anything about this token? I'm sure it's worth nothing but would still like more info. Thanks, David
