Hi Paul, there are places on the treasurenet forum and other forums where you can find laws. Just as a warning so you don't run into trouble, DON"T go to a fereral park with your metal detector, or if you do make sure it is broke down and the batteries are in the glove compartment or they will take it away from you and cite you for it, they have a zero tolerance policy about it also.Good Luck and HH Paul from Ohio
