SURFACE BARBER

September 01, 1999 at 11:15:49

Detecting a country church yesterday. Got a coin reading at 1/2 inch, thinking it must be a quarter that fell out of someones pocket, I moved the grass apart and there looking at me was the heads side of a 1895 Barber quarter. Who would of thought, sure wish it was always that easy. Made me wonder how long it had been there. I found it about 10 ft away from a sidewalk that looked like it was new in the past few years. Must of gotten dug up when they tore out the rold walkway. GOOD LUCK TO ALL
