A little silver

September 04, 1999 at 15:17:34

I didnt have as good a day as Lunch Time Tom. But i had to tell somebody about it. I've dug 34 silver dimes since I started MDing 14 monthes ago and never dug a silver quarter (see Silver Dimes vs. Silver Quarters in the Metal Detecting forum). Well today I was hunting a 100 yr. old house. I found one "55" wheaty, a whole hand full of clads, and a.......1943 STANDNG LIBERTY HALF!, sorry, I'm still excited, ha ha. It's my first silver half and only 2nd one I've ever dug, the first was last weekend. But I havent given up the silver quarters, ha ha. Good luck to yall.
