Old spot still giving good coins
April 02, 2000 at 08:15:04

My favorite spot had became a standby so I could check out some other new spots. After me and my brother spent 3 1/2 hours at our promising new spot with NO luck at all, we went to my stand by spot. After five min. of looking I got my first signal, A 1800,s Shield nickel. I say 1800's because I can't read the date, which is to bad 'cause it's my oldest find yet. My brother found a 1936 buffalo nickel a few feet from where I was and that was all the site wanted to give up! We will be going back tommarrow. Chris D
