HEY HARDTACK....V-NICKEL UPDATE
April 04, 2000 at 15:50:48

HAD A HECK OF A TIME SEPARATING THOSE NICKELS. WHATEVER THEY WERE WRAPPED IN WAS LIKE GLUE AFTE 100 YEARS. HAD TO USE MY TUMBLER ON THE WAD FOR A WHILE TO BREAK UP THE SUBSTANCE BUT BOY WAS IT WORTH IT. SEEMS THE TWO OUTER COINS TOOK THE BEATING AND THE INSIDE ONES WERE EXCEPTIONAL. THE DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS 1-1883,1-1899,3-1910 AND 1-1911. THE 1899 AND 1911 WERE THE OUTSIDE COINS. THE REST EASILY GRADE EF-40. WHAT A FIND!!!!!!! HH
