Wuuhuu! 1927 Wheat Penny!

Hunted an elementary school built in 1929 yesterday. Got a solid penny signal at 4 inches and out popped a 1927 Wheatie in excellent condition! I couldn't believe it. It's my oldest coin by far...next in line is a 52 Wheatie. Does anyone know if this penny is worth anything more than a cent in great condition? Another thing I'm wondering, what year did they stop minting Indian heads and start with the Wheat backs?
