Went out the other day with my 6000 looking for a possible place to find Silver coins.I was in a small town out in the ricefields in no.ca.I used to work with a guy that lived there so I looked him up paid him a visit he asked what I was up to of metal detecting came up and thats when it all started come to find out there was a old hotel blacksmith shop store and brothel across the street from his property.Well my eyes lite up naturally then he told me right next door they tore down a oldhouse last year and next to that is a old church converted back to a home I got permission to hunt where the home was torn down and no sooner got going when another fellow comes walking over to talk with me.This guy David owns and lives on the hotel site and asked me if I would like to hunt it he told me he found 7 coins last year while rototilling for a garden with one seated quarter in the mix,can you believe this been mding for 2 years and this guy finds a better coin than me ha ha .Ive been out there twice now coins are few and far between this guy brought some fill in put his new home right on top of where the hotel was put in lots of gravel so Im workin it hard where I can 4 wheaties so far 14'36'44'5? yesterday he tells me of 2 boys found 2 bags of silver coins by this tree that is now gone and before he bought the property Imgoing to hunt the whole place cause of the history Im using the small coil and getting all the trash I can out of it and hopefully Ill find some good ones with my big coil.sorry for long post.Bob
