No, going to it without permission is pretty inadvisable. I waited for months on a house that was up for sale, then sold, then empty. Beautiful, big 1830s place that looked ripe for detecting. Wait a couple of months, keep your eyes open for any activity, if you see people around the house, i.e. moving in, or doing work on it, ask them! Another good idea is to check in with the neighbors and inquire as to if they know who the new owners are. They may be keeping an eye on the place for them , and may have their contact information. But for god's sake don't go without permission, cause legal trouble could result. --adrian
