William, if you need to know who owns the property presently, one of two places will definitely have this answer. Check with the city office of where the house is located - they would be notified of a change of deed for purposes of elect./water/sewer charges, and if that is not successful, then check with the county court house at the assessor's office because the propery will have to be reregistered for taxation purposes.
