Last night I decided to detect my favorite school in the area, one I've hunted many times. Had my Garrett GTI 1500 and had hunted for about a 1/2 hour when I got a solid 50 cent signal at 5-6 inches. I never get a 50 cent signal so I decided I had better dig. Plugging to about 7" out came the plug and a very old military ring, Sterling and about a size 9 but very heavy. It was so worn that I can not make out the insignia on the front but can tell it had an eagle above a ruffled edged round insignia mark, both sides had letters but again to worn to tell what they are. Never the less a nice find from a worked over site.
