Kokoweef

I'm gathering information on the Kokoweef area, site of the "Underground River of Gold." I have old Desert magazine articles and one from True West 1962 but what I am really looking for is information from folks who have been there and hunted the site or wanted to. What sort of activites are going on at the present time? Is todays technology able to penetrate beneath the earth to find a way into the underground caverns? Have there been any teams or funds solicited to search the area that you know of? Etc.
