IS THERE A DEVICE FOR LOCATING HIDDEN TUNNELS ? August 17, 1998 at 07:18:54 anyone out there with experience locating blocked tunnels with an electronic device ? A colleague suggested using WHITE'S TM 808 in cave mode but I just wonder if there's anyone with experience using this or any other instrument. I requested info about WHITE'S TM808 (source frequency range, shape of the time function, type of receiver, etc.) to one of the retailers in TX (treasure@gorilla.net) but hasn't replied yet. it's been already a week !. the point I'm trying to see is whether the device is capable of, at least in theory, 'seeing' tunnels hidden below 3 or 4 meters underground, assuming that the tunnel is 1.8 meters in diameter. cheers
