It is said to contain spanish gold on the sides of the cave stacked like firewood and baskets full of coins.. Only bad part is that its on a wildlife refuge now. Guess everyone knows what that means. Don't get me wrong I know the canyon north of Elk Mt. But I believe that there is more than one door and that it was used by the spanish first. However, it was used by STARR and her gang, how they got in you might ask....simple a small flute tunnel so while inside you could have a fire... Sound plausible?
