Ken, most of the Spanish drill holes are direction markers. Some are used with poles or limbs as line of sight markers. We found them in the Bahamas where they were coming out of the sea and leading to fresh water. Some are sight markers to treasure sites, but I have never seen them arranged in a definte pattern. Your best bet is to walk around the holes in an ever expanding circle until you locate another marker. In Arizona, look for crosses. Bill
