Gary: In my book "Of Men and Gold" I cover many of the old Spanish and Mexican symbols used by them during the period when they came into Utah for the purpose of mining gold and silver. I have spent over 30 years researching the symbols, and have spent many years following them out to either prove or disprove them. In my latest book, "Treasures of the Ancients" I delve into older symbols that may be of some help to you. Another book that may help would be Gloria Farley's book, "In Plain Sight", worth the money to. For more info write to me at P.O. Box 595 Spanish Fork, Ut.84660
