Curly, I my post, I was sharing about the possibility of legends being true or false. Dr. Swaringen's testimoney was that he saw the Carolatta's crown jewels in Victorio Peak. Who is really to say what those jewels represented until the proper authorities could examin them? A point well taken.
I invented NERS and there is definately a cache in south Texas that fits the Maxililians story. And yes you are correct, this could represent any one of a host of events that have occurred there over the years.
Does this mean that this is what this cached treasure consists of? Certainly not! My mind likes to take what stories that are around and make a resolve about it. It is healthy to do this, in my opinion or I would never get out of my easy chair for-a-look-see.
In all cases Curly, in my opinion, whether it is the Treasure of Sir Francis Drake, the coded Treasure of Neahkahnie, or the alleged Treasure of Maximilian, the truth is never certain until the golden glitter reflects in the sun. Brilliant codes like Drake's code and the LUE code cleverly suggest what will be found there if an effort is extended. Yet, the truth of it all is that the shovel is the jury.
