Hi again FRENCHMAN!
Interesting ideas about the peak you have. My personal belief is that it is the gold vein that Padre La Rue and his people found and mined. La Rue said their mine had seven entrances. Three to the setting sun, three to the rising sun and one to the high noon sun. I believe Doc Noss found the high noon entrance and that one of the side entrances is the one the Air Force guys found and collaborated with the Army to excavate the gold. Noss claimed there were four stacks totaling 16,000 gold ingots and other items as well such as Wells Fargo crates which I believe Chief Victorio and his band stashed there from some of their raids. Victorio dwelled in and used the Hembrillo Basin for a while to stash loot and equipment as well as to take live victims in there to slowly torture them. Also, it was Ova Noss who made the claim on the peak after her and Doc split up. He was too busy getting drunk and bragging about his find to make a claim, not to mention getting himself murdered. He supposedly removed 88 ingots and stashed them in cracks and crevaces in the surrounding mountains and also in false graves. One of my good friends and partners is part of the Ova Noss Family Partnership and they have not worked on the peak for some time. They are busy trying to take the Army to court to make them show itomized statements of what the military has been doing with the hundreds of thousands of dollars they've taken from the Partnership. Also they are trying to gather evidence from possible witnesses to prove the Army removed most, if not all, of the treasure back in the sixties. My friend was up in Nevada earlier this year to do a recorded interview with one of those witnesses. Hopefully they will continue their work on the peak soon. Hope this info helps you a bit.
