I only know a couple of people who know the story of victorio's peak and the James boys. Spike, you big headed bush whackin, claim jumper, where are you, call me or email a number to me, lots of things to discuss and haven't heard from you in a while. As far a what he says down below, I know for a lot of you, its hard to believe, and yes a lot of american history can be rewritten if the truth is known. Richard its true that a lot of the stashes were dug up. Read a book called The Common Denominator. There's another one called the WPA guide to missouri, that was written in the 30's. In it they talk about mysterious people digging huge holes back in the teens and twentys. Also there was a book written by an ex secret service agent that dealt exclusively with the KGC. It used to be sold by Th'ers Express. You could call them and see if they still have it. I have an old catalog of theirs that has the title and author in it if you can't find it. I was involved with the attempt in waco to bring up a huge safe that contained all the locations of their treasures around the country. I don't have the time to go into all of that here, but the government was very interested in it too. This made the papers in waco almost on a daily basis and the tv too. A lot of people were involved in this, including the texas rangers. One day in the parking lot a car was driving through very slowly and we could see he was writing down license plates. One of the guys in charge took his down and had the rangers run a check on it and it was registered to the u.s.government. The safe is still there and the operation shut down as they found out that a big plane was standing by at the airport and when it was found and brought up, it was going to be taken to the plane and flown to who knows where. It turns out the guy who was getting the financing together and running the crew was working for someone else at the same time, so the descendents fired him and shut everything down. Spike can tell these stories mu
