First, yes KGC, I was working on very little sleep when I started.

Spanish Mines; I am not saying that the eastern route was more hevily traveled, just forgotten about or maybe not even explored due to it being keept "Low Profile". I am not sugesting the Pecos river at all, there are some trail markers along it but not what would be considered in what I am working on.

It started with looking at routes and terain. Now I am working on Aerial Photos and ground work. So far we have located 3 seperate trails, compleat with markers. One we have followed to the "End of the Trail Marker" and it has provided some very interesting information. Some has been decifered and more is yet to be decifered. However, the results so far ar "Very" interesting.

As to the KGC; It is rather curious that in and area that was basicly clear of the War between the States, after the war the area became quite popular for a time with Confederate Soldiers. It is also quite well known in some circles around here that some Sothern Sympithysers becam very welthy land owners, the interesting part is that tese were local individuals that befor only had a very meager existance. It is a curiosity and the research will contenue.

And finly as to initials, I havn't said what initials we have found yet!!! Do you know something??

Das Desert Eagle / AKA Jimi
