Hello Russ, I would also like to suggest another George Thompson book called "Throw Down The Box". It's about the stage run from SLC to points N and NW covering both the Utah and Idaho portions. If you can't find a copy I would be glad to check my copy for whatever details you are looking for. When you make the trip plan to spend the night at City of Rocks,Id. if you are a camper. If not it's worth the time. Great rock formations some with the names of pioneer era travelers still clearly visible.The Stage road ran right through the place. Goodonya
