If you will remember your history, Arkansas was part of the Louisiana Purchase. I think that the Lost Louisiana Mines were located in Arkansas, possibly in the Ouachita Mountain area. There was alot of Spanish activity in this area. Be very careful when going to this area because there are alot of rattlesnakes during the summer months. You may find some more info on this subject in an old issue of Lost Treasure. Happy Hunting!!!!!
