This all took place when me and a good friend of mine were both nine years old. When we wre both growing up,we both had a coin collections of old pennies. There was one that always stood out in my mine from way back then,it was a 1959 wheat back penny which he had gotten out of chance at the corner store.Being kids,we naturally thought that it was the last year for them because we both were not serious collectors and we only collected them out of change because they were old and interesting. Then one time, this antique lady came to their house one day and got alot of old stuff his mother was selling and guess where the penny collection went.He came over my house that day and showed me the ten dollars he got for it.Years later when I got back into coin collecting, the first thing that I found out was that 1958 was the last year
for wheat pennies and it was a mint error worth $2,000+.This is a true story, cross my heart......J.$ILVER.....
