Friend Alan, I quit writing for publication in 1985. My last magazine article took two months to research, two weeks to write. I sent along some very poor photographs so they could have somebody draw illustrations. When I got $25 for the article and $35 for the photographs I got disgusted. Dickens got a penny a word 350 years ago. If you can't beat that you're in the wrong line of work. LOL I'm thinking about doing some epublishing where you pay me a fee and download my book to your computer. Would sure save on shipping and paper. Need to make a website to start and that is way on the back burner. Always a pleasure to talk to an old pro and sure hope we're not in the same state. I find enough empty holes as it is. LOL.
