Hello All,
This is my very first post to this forum. I just found it a little while ago and was reading some of the posts. So far, this is one of the better forums I have found on the net.
Anyway, the reason for my post is to ask a question. I'm looking for any type of leads as to treasure in Anza, CA or surrounding areas. I have access to many local history books and maps, but do not know where to even start.
I know that Juan Beautista De Anza was one of the first to pass through our valley on his way to find a rout to Northern California from Mexico. Does anybody have any rumors of treasure that he may have left behind?
Some of the surrounding areas are: Anza Aguanga Idlewyld Mt. San Jacinto Hemet Temecula Murrieta
If somebody has any information they can spare, please let me know. I am very interrest in getting in to treasure hunting as a hobby, but would like to start local.
Thank you to everybody on this forum and especially to those who can help!
Please email me at spencermat@aol.com or just post back to me on this board. I'll be checking back regulary.
Matt
