GulfCoastFl..copper plate
April 18, 2004 at 19:05:08

I am researching the copper plate left by Juan Gonalez and would like to know if anyone has had success in finding web sites or books on the subject.
i have a few questions i would like to answer.
1) how many coins where in the jar that was found? what was the value then? i am on a thought train of "x" being a variable.
2) which definition of "legua" to use? as it was used alot the exact measurement was different all over the region.
3)as far as "ver" and "var" i cannot find much on the meaning of "var" but "ver" means "see" (from spanish) and "spring" (from latin)
4)"hasta"? latin=spear spanish=to,till,untill

I live about 200 miles south of lettuce lake and would like to poke around..if anyone wants to share info or wants a searh partner for Florida email me psylence777@hotmail.com
