My BEST for 2006 from DES PLAINES IL BOB

The snow has come which means it is the end of my metal detecting 2006 season.
The season started on 2-10-06 with my 7 year old daughter and I going over to her school playground. The first find was a nickel. The season ended on 11-29-06 with the last find being a 1936S Merc in the pouring rain with my friend Pat.

This also has been great year due to the fact there are an awful lot of great people on T NET. The sharing of stories and events,the sad times and the happy times,the ideas and tips, The friendships gained, The encouragement to keep digging when a post is about having a PULL TAB day, To those finds of a life time. I love reading the post of what everyone finds whether its a junk day or a great day. Cause you know we all have them.

As most know I do a lot of TEAR Downs, Parkway Areas, Sidewalk tear outs and Private Properties (where I will ask an owner to hunt). Parks are for the clad to buy batteries.
There is a lot of places to hunt out there. If you just ask... Persistence Always pays off in the end...Don't give up on spots..
