Great Finds! I hoard all of mine also, except what I give away. I tell everyone that before I die I am going to put everything I've found in a box and stash it somewhere. Next I'm drawing up a FAKE treasure map to it which will be in some rough country. Then for the next 100 years there will be the tale of the lost Sturdivant treasure.

Very mean, but probably how more the 90% of these treasure tales get started. LOL. ;)

Great finds. I'm always amazed at what you are able to find.

Without giving away to many secrets, how do you decide what schools/areas to hunt? How many in a month do you visit?

I can believe that is that much jewelry in every school. Or am I just missing most of the stuff at the areas I search?

Hi Sheldius

Send me a PM and I'll let you know anything you want to know, I don't mind sharing. If I can help anyone, I will gladly.

I had my article in the Feb 2007 edition of Western & Eastern Treasure Magazine and in that, I did give out a lot of my technics and strategies for pilliging the schoolyards.

Thanks and best of luck to you out there!

Smiles!

I'll have to go out and get that issue of W&E - in fact I should really re-subscribe!

You do an amazing job in those schoolyard playgrounds that's for sure - my guess is two of your tips are to hunt slowly and dig everything.

This post should be stickied for newbies as well as for veterans who are on a cold streak - It's a perfect answer for every newbie question that starts... "I don't know where to hunt...." or "All I'm finding is junk, where is the good stuff..."

Grats on a great 2006 and wishes for an even better 2007!
