Good luck to all!

90%'ers found = 62 (22.42 ounces of silver);
40%'ers found = 181 (26.77 ounces of silver);
Quarters found = 2 (0.18 ounces of silver);
Dimes found = 11 (0.80 ounces of silver);
War nickels = 9 (0.56 ounces of silver);
Dollars = 1 (0.77 ounces of silver)

Total silver bullion weight = 51.68 oz (or 3.230 pounds);
Total value of silver = $386.15 using 1/26/2007's quote of $13.26 per ounce.

Keep at it. There's still a lot of 2007 left!

HobBob - I have a question. I am kinda new to this so bear with me please......I was looking at your totals that I pasted above.....if your total silver weight is 51.68 oz & you use the silver price per oz of $13.26...wouldn't your total value of silver be $685.27? Like I said I am a beginner and was trying to figure out my total dollar amount using the formula you posted above but it is not coming our right. Please explain because I am confused & wanna figure this out.....Thanks.

BTW - I am glad you are doing this...thanks.....this is fun!

Re: Silver Totals for 2007: 586.86 oz recovered - updated 2/4/07, 10:00 PM EST

Woohoo!! The recovered silver count has increased 10-fold since my last update. January was a very good month! Totals have been updated. See the original post for the updates.
At this rate, how long can the silver hold out? Time will tell!

Re: Silver Totals for 2007: 590.38 oz recovered - updated 2/11/07, 9:20 PM EST

Totals have been updated. Not much in the way of new silver being reported this week, but there was a healthy jump in the total value thanks to a sizeable increase in the price of silver this week ($13.83/oz).
Happy hunting all!
