man if those could only talk. I would just love to know who made and used that axehead. that gold is so intricately designed with the ship, sword, shield and writing it is hard to believe how old it is, not to mention it is in such great condition.
congratulations on such a great year, thank you for sharing, and I hope you have many more.
Crusader, simply awesome dude!!! #4&5 just blows me away. Yes, I like the gold but more impressed by the silver. Just rocks my brain to think about who held them last! High 5 dude!
"27th ever recorded"....I don't know where to begin.Awesome Year Crusader....I could only imagine having the opportunity to do so.Best of Luck in 08' and Happy New Year's!!!!
Well done Crusader and Crusader Dad!
I have learned a lot from reading your post and seeing your photos. Thank you for your help in identifying some of the stuff I found in Europe in 2007. Your finds keep me to returning to England to detect and with the current monetary exchange rate my portfolio manager is working overtime. lol
Happy New Year to you both!

Congratulations...you and the gold guys without a doubt had some amazing finds and top the charts.... Obviously not to many of us can compete with your finds if any...especially in U.S. But I also took a look at the Bulgarians beach finds just posted(gold rings)...and I need to get out again soon... even if I just find clad and a few scrap value silvers....planning on digging more junk signals and run tests with new program...I want to double my gold finds this year...none of the silver coins I found were good enough to make my collection so I gave them to my son to play with and add to his collection... Have a great 08!
