If that's all the junk you've dug I think that's a pretty good ratio to treasure found.

That pile is deeper than it looks and if I were to count each and every bobby pin, piece of a pull tab etc. you'd think I'd have Popeye arms by now.

Great finds - I guess the rings make up for having to live on an island in the middle of the Pacific

KONA SIDE, THERE ISN'T MUCH IN THE WAY OF BEACHES ON THE HILO SIDE, AND WHAT THERE IS IS VERY HARD TO HUNT.

    great job!

i went detecting at the beach yesterday , i was shocked to see the place packed when we got there ,
so i went further along the beach and didnt even get a hit... i'm yet to find anything of value at the beach.. but it's all a learning curve and oneday i know i'll find something!

    cheers AJ.
Oneday when i took my Bounty Hunter out of the back of the car , i was asked by my Aunt , "Why did you bring your Whipper Snipper?"
    I was speachless...

Great collection of rings......One day I hope to find one of those , but when your hunting colonial sites 99% of the time, finding one of those would really be tough. HH

Beautiful finds, what equipment are you using and is there any special maintenance to keep it trouble free? Hard to beat a good detectorist with a good detector in an obviously rich area. Are these finds mostly in the drink or is some beach finds? Regardless, "You da Man" ,Mahalo.
Truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but, in the end, there it is.

I've been using the Whites PI Pro, no maintenence just hose it down at night. All of it is from the water, anywhere from ankle deep to put on a snorkle and mask deep...

Mahalo to all for your kind words.
