2008, a look back.
With the snow flying and my detecting season over for this year I thought that you might enjoy a look back at some of the finds from this year.
Enjoy!
A ton of silver on that day!
A Manti, Utah token that sold for $200
A nice variety of finds on this day!
Two more tokens, the top one sold for $75, the bottom one for $50
Some more silver and a couple of tokens, the one on the right sold for $100
An awsome brass tag! (currently hanging in the garage).
The Barbers were found within a few feet of each other, sweet!
A Chicago, Milwaukee & Puget Sound Railway Badge that sold for $85 and some silver.
Silver, Foreign Silver and a 1927S SLQ.
A nice badge, the Malad, Idaho token on the bottom sold for $180.
And my personal favorite find this year, A musicians belt plate!
Heres to wishing you all the best! I really enjoyed all of the treasures and stories that everyone posted!

Re: 2008, a look back.
You realy found some nice coins and tokens.
Did you sell the tokens on Ebay or a privet collector?

I sold the tokens on Ebay, There is a huge market for tokens in Utah.
The belt plate and the post office tag were kept.
I also sell the gold rings and coin silver but I keep the key dates.

I just put stuff on Ebay when I find it, mostly tokens.
And as far as coin silver, most any coin shop will give you close to spot price.
The gold rings that I found this year I took to a guy who sells metal detectors and i bartered them for a new coil and digital scale.
