2008: 94 rings, silver coins, teeth..... & other goodies!

My fellow treasure hunters, I had a good year. My goal was 100 rings....I found 94 gold/silver rings. I can hardly believe I missed it by just 6 rings. I've got to say though, I had a blast trying to hit 100. Since I didn't make it this year, my goal is 100 rings again for 2009. I already have 3 gold & 1 silver ring for this year that I am posting under "today's finds!". I love this hobby. Please enjoy the pics. A few side notes: I only count gold and silver rings. I do not count children's rings, or bronze, or other metals. I have sold a couple and given a few away and they are not pictured. Also, the pennies are actually 2 years worth. I didn't tumble them until this year. Can you imagine...5,450 pennies? After I tumbled them I found quite a few wheaties. Happy hunting and have a fantastic 2009!

I remember many of those finds from your posts during the year. Finding 100 rings of any composition takes a lot..you did great, and setting a goal made you work harder to reach it.

WOW!!! where did you find the rings at mostly, parks? ball fields? where i still have never found a ring
