    Re: 2008 Silver Coins

When I read your introduction, I thought you would have some commonplace tot lot goodies. But no sir, you have an amazing collection there. The walker and SLQ took my breath away. I have heard, and can testify, that it is not the size of the detector, it's how you use it. You truly show that loud and clear. Of course, good locations are also key, and you apparently have those as well. I found a total of 8 silver coins this year, which is also my first year of hunting. Of course, I only did a few hunts on land, and found some gold, but still. You have a great variety of nice old silver, and its beautiful. Congratulations, and here is to much success in the new year!

Amazing first year, or tenth year for that matter. Any chance the 1916 Merc has a "D" mintmark?

    Re: 2008 Silver Coins

Thanks for the awesome reply's everyone!!! I stated they might be meager finds to some only because seems the majority of finds I see people posting on here blow mine out of the water. I can't wait to find my first seated coin or even break into the 1800's. Thats my main goal for 2009. I have found 2 coins from 1901 (IH + Barber dime)..so close yet so far lol.

Nice set of coins you found hope 2009 brings lol as well. Did those buffalos come out that clean, or did you
