Well I did not keep up with this years finds so I had to look back to see what came from this year.I wasn't sure if I even could make a post as I did not have the time this year to put in as the year before.Some on here had a great year Me not so much seemed like something was holding me back all along & everytime I turned around.But after looking back it was not a complete bust.My machine went on the blink a few months ago and have now got it back about a week ago.So maybe all is well with it and 2011 will be the year Other things were found with these items but these were the ones that stood out in the post.

You had a quality year, Pete. That 17th century buckle is killer. The cut piece is sweet. You only got out a number of times, but you always prove that the coast of NC is hard to beat.

sweet year, TK.
i grew up in western NC, and used to find (usually pieces of) those big quartzite spear points there as well.
rarely broke into the 1800's for metal stuff, though.
love the cut silvers!
