I love hunting old relic sites . . . as I feel
the imprint of past lives often linger there.
I view relic sites as windows to the past, sacred places
in a way, yet at the same time attesting to the reality
that the past is still very much a part of our today!

Thanks Dug! I only hope I can find more of the 'yellow stuff' next year when I get my AT Pro this winter! I've already sold most of finds from this year and I'll be trading in my Ace 350 to put towards the purchase of the AT Pro.
All the best to you for a successfull new year!

Thanks for the kind words Glen! Man, I'd sure love to see a pic of all the gold you pulled out of the ground this year, not to mention all that silver! I bet a picture of 180 rings found in one year would make it onto the cover of Western Eastern Treasures!
Hope you and your family have a great holiday and best of luck to you in 2012!

Thanks very much for your words of support this year Cru. I think I did pretty good this past year considering it was my first year detecting. This is definitely one of the most instantly gratifying hobbies I've ever had. Not to mention all the great friends and contacts that I've made here on Tnet over the past year.
Thanks again Cru, best of luck to you and your Dad this year!
Cheers,
Dave
