Hello and a great day to you all.
Just signed on and thought I would share my finds since beginning this adventure.
Bought my first case of half dollars at my local bank and was very excited to ind a 1943 liberty in the first roll. After that I had more fun than I have had in a long time and am hooked.
Totals:
First case
4 liberty's
3 Franklin s
4 1964 Kennedy's
And a total of 22 40% Kennedy's
Second case
2 Liberty's
7 1964 Kennedy's
15 40% Kennedy's
Third case
Skunked
Fourth case
2 1964 Kennedy's
9 40% Kennedy's

Turned these coins into the bank and should have two more cases in tomorrow. So far the hardest thing about searching is finding the coins needed to 'fill' the empty spots after removing the silver. My bank requires coins to be returned in a bag in $1000.00 increments. Thankfully, I have a friend that had near a hundred dollars worth of halves that I bought for fillers. Should keep me going for a while...:)

Good evening scaupus.
It's 1:30 am I I just finished going through the first of two boxes of halves. Skunked as far as silver goes, yet found 2 2002, 1 2004, and 2 2006 halves which I understand only came in the mint sets. YooHoo...:) I also added a few to my Kennedy coin book.
I am going to go through the second box tomarrow and see if my luck improves. If not, I am going to return these to another bank and order two more and see what happens.
I had such good luck with the first four I was hopeing to continue with it. We will see.
I will report back tomarrow night with my results.
Thanks for the reply. I am new to this site and was directed this way from Turd Furguson's PM web site. Have been stacking silver for some time now and waiting for the 'evil empire" to stop their BS and let the metal do what it should. In the meantime, I am going to keep stacking while the fire sale is on..:)
Have a great weekend.

I've hunted some rolls from time to time... I've only found one Franklin though, and believe it or not in the same batches have found 150+ 40's... in all of my searches... Sounds like you're having some great luck! Great finds!

Just curious as to why your not posting this in the coin roll forum? I see your new and maybe you did not realize that there is a section dedicated to coin roll hunting.

Your right, I did not realize there was a coin roll forum. I will look for that and begin posting there. Thank you for your guidance.
I just picked up two more cases of halves and will report to the correct forum upon the completion of my searching.
