    Some of my better 2011 finds

    Some modern gold, some old gold and a few relics left over from the Florida Seminole indian wars that took place in the early 1930s. Including a few Eagle artillery & dragoon buttons, Federal navy officers button, musket balls, buckie balls and a war of 1812 militia button. Oh and my best find of 2011 was for sure that sweet looking 1836 gold half eagle

    It was found on the beach using my Sovereign GT in an area that was previously a 7-8 feet sand dune.
