Thanks for posting the great thread & Awesome finds .

I hope to one day do the water hunting thing ( bucket list, tho I don't care for the word)
also kinda landlocked here in N Ga. .

IMO That salt water does a number on those silver coins ; Still neat to see you found some older types (Mercs, SLQ,& were there a couple WL Halves).

One more ? Does the extra .25% silver in the sterling help it stand up to nature than the 90% US coins ?.
or Did You clean the sterling up more?. Just curios
    Thanks H-N-Y !

Impressive! Lots of time required to dig all those goodies. Good luck in 2014, Q.

Im a water hunter - I hunt cellar holes and farm fields on land = you will very seldom see me on the dry or even wet sand - you will usually find me up to my neck

Good year Casper. The pictures you posted of lures, fishing weights, and all the misc. stuff made do a double take. It was like you sneaked into my garage and took pictures of my stuff! Good to know all of us who enjoy this hobby work hard to dig a lot of the same stuff. Digging everything has a big payoff in gold. I didn't post pictures of all the lead, lures, and misc. stuff, but you can click on the 2013 link in my signature to see my finds for last year.
