Loco-Digger's Best of 2015
I am humbled by all the fantastic finds of others and am grateful to have found Tnet. I'd like to think I have made some good friends here and would love to share a pitcher of beer with many you as we swap dirt fishing stories .
This season's hunts consisted of more permissions than public lands. I dug less clad (by choice) than last year but dug many more keepers. Many of my relics are all over the house or are already in displays, thus I have very few in the pics below. If you seen one harmonica reed, you've seen them all, just saying...
I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I pulled my oldest coin (1812 Five Francs) and my most valuable coin (1877 Indian Head) in 2015. Yes this was a BANNER year.
I'd like to give a special shout-out to Vince76 for the goodwill gesture of sending me a couple coins from Italy. In return I sent him a 1901 IHP and a 1941 Merc.
All Silvers The ring was a coin once thus it made this pic.
Big Silvers Close-Up Feel free to save this pic and use it as your desktop wallpaper, I did.
IHPs and Other Keeper Coins 2015 will be remembered as the year of the Indian Head Penny
Close up of the 2 Coins Sent From Vince in Italy
Non-Coin Treasures
Old Token Close-up
Other Tokens
Thanks for looking, hope you clicked on some of the pics to see them enlarged.
As always, I hope ya'll got out and swung the coil today.
