2015 was a pretty eventful metal detecting year! Found my first coin (the 1837 silver half dol.) and became a member of the 1700's club (King George II 1750 Half Penny). I also found lots of interesting relics - some of which I still need help identifying. Here are pictures of the ones that I have questions about and the ones worth mentioning:
No idea what this hollow pointy piece of copper? is. It's hole is threaded.
A Buckle with tiny holes poked in it?
Fired musket balls from a known revolutionary war battle site.
A medium sized one ringer bullet with a deep base. Has rifling marks.
A skeleton key with a broken off end.
This is going to be a hard one to identify. Probably copper or brass, has a thin piece on one side with a hole in it, the other side has a pin going through a cut slot as if it was completely round at one point and had another side that interlocked into it.
Nice big buckle.
Army/Navy Sterling WWII Production Badge.
No idea on this bullet, obviously fired and smashed. Completely lead, found with the musket balls in the revolutionary war area but looks like it used to be cone shaped based on what is left of the tiny base.
