First year with the CTX 2017 stuff!!

I started my year off with the CTX coming straight from the Etrac the previous 2 years. I hunted primarily public spots that have been hunted for years and are easily accessible to anyone that knows the area. This part on NM hasn't been heavily populated ever, 1800 people until the early 40's, founded in 1898. I did do a few hunts at a WW1 training camp, that's where all the buttons and weird buckles and whatnot's came from. The old coppers came from Old Mesilla NM about 70 miles from where I live. Most of the silvers came from the old zoo, an old high school and a few permissions. I did waaay too much cherry picking because my time was limited this past year, hence not many nickles or mid to low conductors in my pouch this year Sooooo, my New Years resolution is too get back to the nitty gritty and go back with my new Equinox and clean up what I left behind. Pic heavy post.

Thank you, your going to love it when you see what that thing can do. I can't tell you how many times I've stood there shaking my head in disbelief after digging a nice target. Have a great New Year!!
