These are all my fines that I consider very precious to me I also taking account the condition they were all found on public property. Hey guys it’s out there it’s just how bad you want it I would say this is the beginning of my military fines before this I only found one Louisiana pelican code button but besides that treasure I never really found buttons or relics of battles this fort never had combat but they sure had a lot of visitors I got about non-beautiful grape shots and I cannon ball. I bought a bunch of 1912 postcards on this Ford and I saw where the cannons were placed and I said to myself self what would you do if you were a young boy stuck in the middle the summer day after day not having any action I thought to myself I would fire one of those damn cannonballs. Well I went on the other side of the Bayou I gaged maybe how far it would’ve went and I started metal detecting and I found one I was so lucky but remember the harder you work the luckier you get. The only things that were not from this year was my Mexican cap 8 reale Which I found in a curb strip after I found out where the boats would come to drop off the Oxen and liquor and return of pine sole and things of that nature which is in the old historic district of my city which is 98% cement for all the lawyer offices in boutiques. Well one day I said I’m going to go check that all piece of grass one little strip people were looking at me like I was nuts I went with the keep your head down and don’t look LOL And the rest is history

And I could not have done it without my shovel Big Red I have broken six shovels leaving all the way up to the parana and I broke it I called them up and ask them if they were using cheaper irons he got very upset with me he said I’m sending you Big Red and don’t ever call me back. The place I hunted at I had the challenge of Breaking red brick white shells oyster shells and that’s not including all the
Modern trash. It truly was the best year of my life and now I’m moving on from the Fort because they say it’s never hung it out but up put a huge dent in it. God bless the fort and all the war of 1812 Relics I have found. I appreciate your looking and God bless us all

I am very lucky I don’t get permissions because I can’t bring myself to door knock because of rejection or because if someone knocks on my door it makes me pullout the AR. Uggh

[emoji38] I can’t do the door knocking thing either, all my permissions come from email or text requests after extensive research. I’m like you, I’d rather people stay away from my door too.

I'm impressed and jealous. Sure would be nice to have a great hunting location like you do. Especially like what you did with the cannon ball.

You have quite a collection. Thanks for sharing. I really like the Infantry hat bugle insignia, the Louisiana Pelican button, and the CW lead. All great saves and finds of our History. I like the old coins also. Well Done on Saving our History. Continued Success to you.
