I'm a bit too far away to join your club, but would like to attend another meeting sometime. I was there a couple years ago, and when I'm in Cali, do some hunting with one of the members, but his time is very limited, so always looking to partner up with someone.

This club is what I have been searching for. I have been very interested in metal detecting for almost 2 years, so I am a novist. I would love to join your club and finally meet some people with the same interests as me. I have found when I am out and about detecting I am the only 40 something girl out there. I would love to go to a meeting. Is the Sonoma County Coin Poppers still up and going? Theresa~

Theresa and vp-brian, I'm pretty sure it still exists. Hop on the kinzli forum, and some bay-area folks can chime in about that. And cool-hand-fluke can often be found chiming in on CZ6 forums. He's probably just not checking this particular thread, because it's so old.

There's also a club that meets in Concord as well, that's quite sizable. Some of the member of each, participate in each club I think.

Can also confirm that Coin Poppers is still around. They do these low tech, it's the way they have always done things. A good group of guys and gals who know their stuff. I believe it's 25 bucks a year for dues...They have a raffle each meeting. Prizes are silver! Lot's of winners and sometimes multiple items go to one person.
