Does this rock look like it may have been placed upright? Looks like a ruin stone of europe...it would be great to get some rubbings ....just wondering if the carvings could be welch?

no , there are other rocks around, and it goes into the ground, the old Cherokee boundary goes by this area and most believe it is used as an boundary marker
