Phenix City / Chattahoochee river hunt?

I’ll be visiting my kids in Phenix City this coming weekend. I was wondering if anyone has, or can give me any insight, into hunting on the Chattahoochee River. I know they have some historic sites along the river, but I don’t know to the local rules.

I was going to wade along the shore and hunt the wet banks, if possible.
